You could also look at the paths in the "plug-ins" section of the preferences menu (of mixcraft).

When you re-installed EZ-Drummer did you accept the default paths for the installation? I think you are right that there is likely something that you have overlooked. I'm excited to use both MC and EZD in smooth conjunction if I could figure out where I'm going wrong, I would be a happy dude.

MC 6 is the simplest, most effective DAW that I have used, and I plan on using it for a long time. On a side note, I wasn't aware that MixCraft 7 was out yet, but I would be interested in purchasing it if it is/when it does comes out. An option shows up in the EZD window (when I use it through MixCraft and click the 'edit' button) that says to browse for the sound files, but I have looked in all the Toontrack folders for something that seems like it would work, but no luck. I feel like I'm getting closer, that there's something I'm overlooking, but I don't know where I should look to find the sound files. When running Ez Drummer 2 as a standalone program, there is sound and beats play normally, but when attempting to drag and drop and integrate it into MixCraft, the beat shows up visually, with all the notes being struck, yet there is no sound. The bad news is that a pop-up notice says that it cannot locate the sound files, so I'll drag and drop a beat from the Ez Drummer window to the timeline in MixCraft and the notation shows up, but absolutely no sound plays. The good news is that Ez Drummer now shows up in the list of virtual instruments, allowing me to choose it. The good news is that Mixcraft 7 can and does recognize 64 bit plug-ins.Īlright, uninstalled the 64-bit versions, installed the 32-bit version.

If you install the 32 bit version and still have problems - come back and I will explain how to remove from the vstignore file. This can be because it has been put on the vstignore file. If you have tried to install the 64 bit version and then install the 32bit version you may still find that it doesn't work.

Mixcraft 6 cannot recognize 64 bit vstis. Fredfish wrote:Make sure you are installing the 32bit version of EZ Drummer.
